The KettlePizza Basic is a pizza oven conversion kit for 18.5 and 22.5 inch charcoal kettle grills. Included with the KettlePizza Basic kit are:

- one 304 stainless steel pizza oven sleeve for 22.5" kettles - two wood handles with stainless steel standoffs - one hi-temp thermometer - one 14" aluminum pizza pan - stainless steel hardware

Some basic assembly is required (no tools needed). The product is proudly Made in USA in Massachusetts and has patents pending. Note: buyers must first have a kettle grill such as a Weber One Touch 22.5 Inch Gold or Silver.

  • Transforms 22.5" kettle grills like Weber One Touch Gold or Silver into a wood fired pizza oven.

  • Heat remains stable because lid does not need to be removed to access food.

Unit damaged in shipping (lower frame bent). April 17, 2014

The lower portion of the oven kit was dented under the pizza opening. I had to 'pull' the narrow strip back into near original shape.
I hope that this will not cause issues with the unit in the future.

I have only cooked one pizza so far, but
it takes longer than you advertise and it wasn't done by the time the tempature dropped. Note: I waited 10 minutes for the stone and baking steel to heat up.

Best Pizza Oven For The $$$ March 20, 2014

The Kettle Pizza is an awesome system. We baked our first wood fired pizza and it came out fantastic. I used the stock pan to make the pizza. Pizza came out beautifully. I used a Weber Chimney Started, with 1/2 briquettes, 1/2 lump charcoal, 1/8 of a log of hardwood. Started my coals and made a "C" Shape after they were hot, as instructed. Added my log of hardwood, put on the Pizza Kettle and off we went. Temp reached the 700+ degree mark, put in my pizza on the pan, turned after about 2 minutes (keep an eye on it as it goes fast). It is easy to check looking in the opening. Pizza came out great. I will invest in the pizza stone for an even crisper crust, however, this worked very well. Just follow the instructions that came with it. It is simple.  Temperature control is straight forward using the Weber vents. Like any outdoor cooking you must keep a watchful eye. Thats all part of the fun!
