I am using my grill gloves off prescription. I have a wood burning stove, and I have been looking for stylish, over the wrist gloves (gauntlets) for grabbing from the spidery woodpile and opening the redhot wood burning stove.

I had been using welding gloves until now.
These gloves are necessary when placing the baking steel on top of the original Kettlepizza after putting the charcoal and wood chunks in the kettle.
