The KettlePizza Gas Pro pizza oven kit sets directly on the grill grate. Simply bring the one-piece stainless pizza oven insert and stone up to temperature (shown on the built-in thermometer), and it’s ready to cook your pizza. Heat radiates down from the lid cooking the pizza evenly and completely. Temperatures are dictated by the amount of BTU’s you grill has and 600-700 degrees F is common. Cooking time varies with grill and pizza type between 4 and 7 minutes. (Note: requires 3 burners minimum and cooking surface at least 24” wide, 17” deep) . GRILL NOT INCLUDED

First time trying to make pizza napoletana. The pizza in Naples is something you can’t forget. So although edible and tasty, this first attempt was hardly anything close to it... Need to work on the dough and cooling down the baking surface a little to give the top more time. The pizzas had to be taken out a little early because the bases were getting burnt.
Also, can try to put some hardwood on the sides to increase the dome temp and add some wood fired aroma. I think it was about 700-750F under the steel and 650F on the stone. A wood fired oven can get up to 900-1000F in the dome and 800-900F on the surface.
